PAL-CON, Ltd. repairs, services, refurbishes, manufactures, removes, and installs gas turbine regenerators and associated components for the natural gas and electric utility industries. With the second largest brazing furnace in the world, 4k fiber laser table, three water jets, paint and blast booths, 750-ton hydraulic press, 550-ton press brake and shear, various welding and metal fabrication equipment, 30- ton and 10-ton bridge cranes, PAL-CON, Ltd. has the equipment, personnel, and capability to provide a variety of manufactured, metal fabricated, and aerospace-related products and services. These SALES PERSONS (two separate positions: manufacturing and aerospace) will be required to bring a wide range of manufacturing/metal fabrication or aerospace experience and book of business along with a superb understanding of our existing products and services and capability in order to provide existing and potential clients with project specifications and pricing.
These SALES PERSONS will be required to gain an understanding of the scope and requirements of a project. They will be required to collaborate with the sales manager, engineering, and production management to ensure project feasibility, pricing, and scheduling. They will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients, providing coverage and support for existing clients, and for formulating proposals following thorough project evaluations based on project specifications designed to meet clients' objectives.
These SALES PERSONS must have previous manufacturing/metal fabrication or aerospace sales and marketing experience, must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (email, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, must be highly motivated, and must always maintain a professional demeanor with clients, vendors, and coworkers. The ability to stay up-to-date with clients' products, services, and contact personnel is important. These positions must be well versed in our products, services, methods, materials, practices, policies, and capabilities and be prepared to answer related client questions accurately with little to no delay. They must be able to work independently, follow written and verbal instructions without deviation, be able to prioritize, be highly detail oriented, take and retain detailed notes and accurate records, be reliable and flexible, be able to change his/her focus at a moment’s notice, and be dedicated to the success of PAL-CON, Ltd.
Experience in a manufacturing/metal fabrication or aerospace-related environment is required; a college degree is not required. They must possess valid state’s driver’s licenses and appropriate insurance. These sales position will report directly to the Director of Business Development. They will be required to follow the proper chain of command. The rate of pay is negotiable based upon each candidate's experience. PAL-CON, Ltd. offers competitive wages and benefits. This position’s hours will vary. This position is subject to a 90-day introductory period.
