The PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER will be required to provide engineering expertise, guidance, and technical assistance by performing professional engineering tasks and by managing, reviewing, and evaluating work of consultants, contractors, and in-house staff in order to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate production and fabrication of regenerators, associated components, facilities, systems, and other custom products to meet our clients’ needs.

The PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER will develop, prepare, and review plans, reports, and studies to identify and recommend engineering solutions. He/he may be required to inspect products, structures, facilities, and/or system operations before, during, and after installation. He/she will be required to participate in policy and procedure reviews. The PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER must possess above average communication and interpersonal skills so to assist employees in understanding their positions and delegated tasks. He/she must be highly detail oriented; make and retain detailed notes and accurate records; and be able to implement processes necessary to alter designs timely. He/she will ensure accurate adherence blue print specifications as required to meet our production schedules as well as our clients’ operating schedules.

The QUALITY INSPECTOR must be experienced with blue prints, weld symbols, weld mapping, as built documents, heat numbers, matching heat numbers, weld specifications and MTRs, he/she will inspect for quality workmanship and compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.

Relevant experience is required. A degree in an Engineering Technology field is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required. AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification is a plus. Five to 10 years of experience and working knowledge of engineered drawings and the ability to read and understand blueprints. The FIELD ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT will ensure compliance with PAL-CON, Ltd.’s policies and procedures. He/she will be proactive and address all matters in a professional, respectful manner.Three years’ experience in a manufacturing and/or construction site setting is required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The FIELD ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT will report directly to the Office Superintendent,Project Coordinator, and site Superintendent; he/she must follow the proper chain of command.

The FIELD ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT’s hours may vary. The FIELD ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT will be required to travel. His/her rate of pay will be based upon experience.
